Mumbai: Not impressed a plain jane nurse, Karan Johar is re-writing the role of Priyanka Chopra to give her a sexy makeover in ‘Angeepath’.
Buzz has it that Karan re-wrote Priyanka’s role because he wanted the actress to bring large amount of sensuality to the film.
Apparently, KJo signed Priyanka for ‘Dostana’ only when Aishwarya Rai said no to the project. Of late, Priyanka bagging a plum role in ‘Agneepath’ has become the latest talk of tinsel town.
Reportedly, there is much dispute in Kjo’s company Dharma productions over Priyanka’s sexy avatar in the ‘Agneepath’ remake.
It is believed that KJo found the character of nurse (originally played by Madhavi) a tad too boring for Priyanka Chopra. Consequently, the character of the nurse is being re-written so as to suit Priyanka’s sassy image.
Talking to a daily, when enquired about Priyanka’s on-screen character in ‘Agneepath’, a playful KJo said, “We can’t have Priyanka playing a nurse, please!”
